11.21-11.27 Third week of training = Done!
Monday = 4 mile run outside. Added extra mile to the Lawrence/Peterson outdoor loop. First mile was a good warm up, but the turn around was pretty rough. Made it back ok though!
Tuesday = Did my yoga DVD today, my calves had been really tight so I got a good stretch. Was flying out in the evening so I walked some laps through the airport too. Managed to stay OP in the airport and make good choices!
Wednesday = 2 mile run outside. Made some adjustments to this week’s schedule due to the Turkey Trot. It’s amazing how fast 2 miles can go by now!
Weigh In Wednesday 11.23.11: -1.4
Thursday = 5 Mile Turkey Trot. This was a great reminder of how important it is to start off slow. Started at an easy jog pace, and didn’t pick up speed until after the first mile. It was a chilly day, but I loved running through Columbus and Ohio State Campus! Had a great time catching up with family and friends.
Friday = DOR
Saturday = 6 miles outside… Kind of. Spent the night at my brother’s new house on Friday night. I packed my running gear for a good run on Friday morning. I guesstimated at a loop around their neighborhood. It was a nice day out, not too cold. Ended up doing a run/walk combo. The whole loop was about 6.5 miles. Felt ok about that!
Sunday = Unintentional DOR: Travel day
This was a good week, exercise and foodwise. i was able to adjust the training schedule as needed, and get out there when I could.
